Art from the Heart of the Goulburn, one of the most popular art exhibitions in regional Australia, was on display on the weekend of 18-19 May 2013 at the historic Tallarook Mechanics Institute.
The theme for this year’s show is “Heartfelt” and both emerging and established artists have been invited to capture the spirit of this wonderful central Victorian region.
There will be a number of awards including:

Best In Show Emerging Artist - Primary School Category
Mitchell Shire Art Award Emerging Artist - Secondary School Category
Peoples Choice Emerging Artist - Open Category

There will be significant cash prizes, which will be announced once all sponsorships are finalized. If you are interested in sponsoring our event or know a prospective sponsor please contact us for the exciting options available.
This is the sixth year of the exhibition, after the success of 2012 with over 100 works on display and over $25,000 in sales.
Other highlights during the weekend include:
Bridget McDonnell will showcase art works from her Carlton Gallery, which will include highly regarded established artists.
Aranda Art is back with Indigenous artists who have visited Tallarook and painted in our local region.
A Saturday evening function with drinks, finger food and music for those who wish to enjoy the community spirit and view the exhibition in a more personal way.
The Ferrari Club will be visiting on Sunday morning - 19th May with 30 + Ferrari's parked on Main Street, Tallarook.
We are also encouraging support from our local farmers to provide produce for local foods that will be on the menu throughout the weekend. The profits from the Exhibition & sales go towards the Tallarook Mechanics Institute and TartS both, non-profit community groups.
